Michael A. Singer., The Untethered Soul - The Journey Beyond Yourself. New Harbinger Publications/Noetic Books.

2015: I had begun reading this book in the fall of 2014 and because I was in a raw place, it was too much for me to receive. In June while I was at the library, this book practically jumped off the shelves and appreciate I am in a place to receive it's message.

Eckhart Tolle., A New Earth - Awakening to Your Life's Purpose. NY: Plume, Penguien Books Ltd.

2014: Finding myself at a book sale at the library, I was drawn to browse and found this gem. It's aided in a transformation, beyond words to express the gratitude of finding this book and the ability to savor the experience.

Marc David., (2005) The Slow Down Diet. VT: Healing Arts Press. 

2014: This book was a key instrumental in my 100 Day Journey of Nourishment in combination with working with Maggie Christopher. This book creates a sacredness to how one eats and provided a structure to create a more authentic and loving relationship with food, health and my weight.

2014: Instrumental in my 100 Day Journey of Nourishment in combination with working with Maggie Christopher, this book provides information around the food truths, body cravings and exploring the connection between food, spirituality and work.

2011: I read this book and it so sparked the light for me to continue with my own journey for the Inspiring Happiness Project and this blog which launched in March 2012. Gretchen's experience of finding ways to increase long lasting happiness providing a road map.

Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Ph. D., (1992) Women Who Run With The Wolves. New York: Ballantine Books.

2013: Every few months I return to a new story in this book. Margins are filled with my notes and often the stories present themselves to provide a mirror into my present healing journey. The collection of stories provides valuable insight into creating a purposeful journey with female psyche and soul.

Ken Cohen., (2003) Honoring the Medicine: The Essential Guide to Native American Healing. NY: Random House

2012: In the summer of 2012, I had the deep, unknowing desire to travel to South Dakota. Time in the beautiful and vast scenery of the Badlands, The Devil's Tower, Custer State Park, I became increasingly aware that I was called to travel here and it was in this time that travel rejuvenated my soul. Maybe it was the time spent in scared spaces and an appreciation for the Native American tradition, I was thankful and inspired. I found this book and appreciated a way to think of symptoms in a more holistic way.
